We are going to do this for you by explaining to you each month how to access what your hair needs, in very basic forms.
De Fabulous is a Brand of Hair Care products manufactured in the United States of America. This brand uses all natural ingredients to nourish and strengthen hair.
Within the brand there is a secondary brand called the Amazon Series which uses raw materials from the Amazon Forest to cleanse, condition and re-texture hair to eliminate frizz and induce control.
Once you start using Defabulous Amazon Series Hair Products we guarantee that you will see visible improvements in your hair’s condition and your hair’s strength. You will also be in awe as to how long your hair color lasts. Let’s get excited and look forward to the miracles which appear in your hair.
Which product do I Use? Consumer Education:
Before purchasing any hair products you should have a Professional Hair & Scalp Analysis done by your Hairdresser. It is important for you to know what condition your hair and scalp are in and hence you will then know what to purchase to remedy the problem. Like any other problem, you cannot find a solution unless you know the cause.
Here are some of the causes of hair and scalp disorders:
Improper selection and use of chemicals
Improper timing of chemicals on the hair
Combs and brushes which damage the cuticle of the hair shaft
Shampoo unsuitable for the condition of the hair and scalp
Conditioner unsuitable for the condition of the hair and scalp
Treatment selection is inappropriate for the level of damage to the hair.
Our Beauty Professional Retailers in the Caribbean have been trained in the use of Defabulous to solve these hair disorders. Select the ‘Caribbean Retailers’ section at the top of this website to find out more about certified Defabulous professionals in your country and specific area.
Product Category of the Month:
This month we will begin to look at shampoos and the technique of how to perform an effective shampoo at home.
There are many different types of shampoos and it is very important that the correct shampoo is selected for your hair and scalp needs.
Reviver Shampoo by De Fabulous
This shampoo is made specifically to meet the needs of chemically treated, damaged and abused hair. It is made to cleanse and strengthen hair by the addition of Keratin in the Shampoo and condition the hair by having the ability to soothe and moisturize the cuticle layer. Once your hair is exposed to any type of Chemical Service, the cuticle layer, protective layer of the hair becomes open and this encourages dehydration or dryness of the hair which ultimately leads to breakage.
In Grenada, Reviver Shampoo is sold at a number of Salons. This is a shampoo which is sold exclusively through Beauty Salons so that the consumer can understand why they need it and how to use it – and also that it is the right product for their hair problems!
De Fabulous products are also sold in Trinidad and Barbados - See the 'Caribbean Retailers' link at the top of this page.
Defabulous Beauty Tips:
The Correct Shampoo Technique
Comb hair through of tangles. Now, I know that there are some hair textures that you have to use Conditioner to comb through. If yours is that type then do so after the shampoo service.
Wet hair very thoroughly.
Apply the shampoo to the tips of your fingers.
Then apply the shampoo to your scalp….NOT to your hair.
Massage in a circular manner.
Reviver Shampoo is sulfate free and therefor will not lather a lot. Please do not keep adding shampoo to get lather. All you will be doing is making it difficult for the shampoo to leave your hair.
Apply shampoo in manner described previously, using less shampoo, and massage in the same manner as described previously.
Remember, correct techniques mean better results. Contact us for more information here. We look forward to communicating with you again in our August Newsletter.
